  • Chronos in Los Angeles

Earlier this week, I flew to Los Angeles to spend a couple of days with one of my teams, Chronos.

I grabbed this impromptu photo in our working space.

We took this photo at dinner.

And then grabbed this wonderfully imperfect set right before I ran out the door, with my phone balanced on a power adapter and the shutter triggered from my Apple Watch.😂

  • High Tide

On the way to dinner, we found a path with access to the beach. Unfortunately, the tide was so high that we couldn’t even get to the beach.

Miguel decided to climb on a building to get a closer look.

  • Saturday Afternoon at the Murder House

For the Mercury meetup, we ended up renting two separate houses in La Jolla.

One of them is very colorful while the other is made of redwood. We’ve been having our meetings in the redwood house which we’ve began to call the Murder house.

Halfway through the day today, we were starting to doze off and decided a half mile walk for coffee was a good idea. Here are some pictures from that.

Later in the evening before dinner, we had a guac-off where Kevin and Beau both made guacamole and we decided who made the best.

  • Night Lights in Rome

The lights that are displayed throughout various parts of Rome have been one of my favorite parts of roaming at night.

  • Walking by Palazzo Montecitorio

I was interested by the color of the buildings as we walked back, so I took a picture as Allen and Oguz walked ahead.

  • Brilliant Parking in Rome

Besides the cobble streets, one of the things about Rome that stands out most to me most is how intermingled passengers and vehicles are in Rome.

So much so that this car was parked with only one tire on the street, and 3 on the sidewalk.
