Last month, everyone in my company descended upon Whistler, BC, Canada for our annual company meetup. A few days before that meetup, I stayed at a coworker’s house on Bowen Island.
Here are a few pictures from that trip.

The third day of the trip was our travel day from Bowen Island to Whistler Village. We spent the morning doing a bit of work, then took the ferry to meet up with some Automatticians from Seattle on their way to Whistler.
One of the most interesting parts of the day, besides the obvious catching up with ~500 coworkers, was when Michael Arestad, Stephane Daury, and Matt Mullenweg pulled up in their muddy Jeeps after driving almost coast-to-coast across Canada.
Tonight, after Enej cooked burgers for a dinner, we took a walk down to Scarborough Beach on Bowen Island. The trip down was fine. Coming back up was not so much fun.
Team Poseidon from Automattic was true to its name today as we visited a pub and kayaked on the ocean.
Afterwards, we hiked the trail back up to Enej’s house and have spent the afternoon looking at and talking about code.
